Many 2012 scholars say 'we have to be enlightened to survive the coming time'. We may believe we are enlightened or not enlightened. Or some people will say 'great, higher beings will rescue us and we don't have to do anything', or some people will say 'it sounds like I am not good enough, I am a failure'. These are all big problems in people's thinking, because they assume a particular outcome.
This is the reason why we don't know for a fact what will happen in 2012 - if anything! Maybe we have to deal with everything ourselves and clean up this particular environment and set up a stable industrial/governance/economic system over the next 2000 years. A true economic system, without having rich people syphon more and more of the common people's money for themselves. In fact, humanity knows we have to do this either way, regardless of what happens specifically in 2012.
Some believe that we will be allowed to exist in a more harmonious sphere all together, and there will be no humans left on this surface, allowing climate change to undo the work of humans while we build a better world on a higher frequency of Earth's manifestation - a higher floor in the building, so to say.
We don't know these things for sure, because they must be felt with the mind. The mind can be confused and it can be conditioned by Illusion - Maya.
Whoever says that a 'chosen few' will be selected are misleading in what they say - it is up to each person to decide whether they are themselves 'chosen'. There is room for everyone, if everyone wants to stay here. Everyone who wants to live a joyful life will prosper and be happy in the future.

It appears that the galaxy is causing us to shift in frequency, on a very intrinsic level. And is
gets back to the idea that we are multi-dimensional beings.

And yet, experiments and prototypes such as the Casimir effect, sonoluminescence, and anti-gravity / free energy devices have already proven that this energy must exist.
Modern researchers have brought back the forgotten term "aether" for this energy, as up
until the beginning of the 20th century, scientists believed that it was there.
As just indicated, those who now work with the concepts of the ‘aether’ have discovered
that it can indeed be harnessed to produce all of the basic effects seen in the UFO, including
anti-gravity, limitless generation of energy from "empty space" as well as the possible travel
