U.S. States Declare Sovereignty

Yes, this has been a hot topic on the internet. I haven't heard any mention of this in the mainstream media; no surprise there.

So much is happening, it's hard to keep up with it all.

We are entering into a battle of states rights for sure.  The states are tired of federal mandates that aren't funded and that go against the wishes of the people in those states.  Will we break apart?  Not really likely.  The main reason is that states have no military, and are strapped for cash supporting police actions.  If a state did decide to declare its sovereignty, they would need someone to back them up.  The only people the federal government would be the least bit scared of would be China or Russia, but that's not a realistic scenario.  States are sick of federal mandates... does anyone think they'll sell out and accept military backing from Russia or China?  Never going to happen.  We like our freedom too much, and that's the sentiment behind the bills.

These bills are about building political clout, and no one is seriously thinking of leaving the US.  Remember, we are a pseudo democracy, and what the bills do is reestablish states rights as is already given by the constitution.  They are trying to limit the federal governments power through political process, not by actively seeking to leave the union.

Not saying we have some God given right to go on forever, but the US breaking apart is not what the bills are about.  We may disband someday, but the federal government will have to completely fall apart first, and the states will pick up the pieces.  You'd probably see it segregated into four or five parts first around the military complexes, but that's just a guess.

I hope we don't brak appart ... seems not realistic but it seems that one of the reasons we are the great nation we are thanks to being the size we are.

Check for example Russia or CHina...

Also the people you have in a country that pays taxes the more possiboloty you have to either expor more or have the money to buy more weapons :PPP

I believe there is NO WAY this will happen. 

The people of the nation will not and can not let something like this happen.
