I personally kindly worship the sun for its beauty and relevance and all that... and the latter part of your username Beam - Beam is how I class the toy I know how to make as it operates on beams of the Suns rays. Pretty cool how life is all connected don't ya think??

I bet it will open up people's hearts to share their inner feelings with the strangers they don't know although they share among, anyway... I'll give my own reason at the end of this post, Lol... - I'll try an' keep it short.
Where to start with Chakra...?? I guess at the beginning is best...
I can appreciate that you have personally yourself ventured into your own findings of the topic Chakra, of which is great however frustrating it may seem to be - (as you understand to be..)
I would kindly ask; how many sources have you understood of to be that speak about the topic Chakra, and further ask, how many sources do you know of that exist to date??
Is the first answer to be the same as the last answer? If so, then things will be simple. Not by coincidence there are many among this world whom term the topic Chakra differently, and therefore it opens the subject Chakra to be a vast field of understandings, and this is not so simple itself in explanation.
I happily mention that I know of many languages and cultural backgrounds with detail. This has given me a point to understand in literature what many nations refer to as, 'a way to live long'. Which in its entirety is the generalization of Chakra Centers.
What may seem difficult in life is in many ways to understand. When learning or studying a topic, it is by interest that you choose to do such a thing. The subject of which is being taught - does it make sense to you so far, is the teacher expressing a little too quickly, and/or do you so far understand each part precisely??
If not, stop until All is understood. If so, well... that nicely means you know everything from that particular teacher. Expanding thought here... there are many, many teachers in this world (and out there..) so with respects - there is a lot to be understood!!!
In life if we move too quickly we tend to loose touch of what happens in the middle areas. It is like loosing a sense of something (inner self??). But to grasp hold of life again is just a matter to take time and understand more knowledge before considering leaping ahead.
I'll begin with what is known as the 5 Human senses;
Touch
Taste
Smell
Hear
Sight
These come in no particular order, and there is no individual sense that is more dominant than any other. If sight is great above the sense of taste, then it is also seen as the taste buds are lacking in sensitivity, this does not mean you have weak taste buds... they just lack...
If you can smell the kitchen filling with aromas but cannot quite hear anything cooking, then it is known that your sense of hearing is far away from the origin of the cooking sounds - as to oppose the thinking of not having such good hearing.
{Smells can hold the aroma over a long distance, although sound do too, it becomes distorted and looses frequency from bouncing off walls and floors and so forth. Smells do mix with other smells, but in most cases the same aromatic atom floated from its source to your sense of smell. Frequencies of sounds are a lot more difficult to the calculate original intent than that of a frequent smell}
If you touch your nose and block airflow. Not only has the sense of smell gone but also the sensation of any particular taste. Taste sense breaks down to sweet, sour, salty and bitter, but for most cases these are not experienced if the nose is blocked in airflow. It is why persons with a cold or flu’s, or blocked noses do not feel like eating for it is sensed as a waste of effort for no taste or smells are experienced, only a sensation of sweet an’ sour etc.
Eye exercising - close the eye lids and walk around the house, try for most parts of it.
Loss of sight means - loss of time, as it would have taken longer to complete the perimeter to that if eyes were open. Loss of time is taking too long. Taking too long means open your eyes and hurry up....
Loss of sight is also the sense of loosing ground, or loss of gravity; unless hearing is acute the body will struggle to find stability for it senses no visual boundaries and loss of senses begins to unfold - generally the nerves tingle in many areas of the body of which gives sensation of falling... Unless you are in the sky, you are pretty safe on the ground. The Blind have canes so they can produce a hit to hear what and where is the sound coming from, which gives some sense of stability against the boundary struck.
With each of the 5 senses I would like to associate to a part of the body.
two eyes - sight - Head, of one
two ears - hear - Ears of two known as a pair
one nose - smell - nose of one with two nostrils
one mouth - taste - mouth of one airflow
one heart - touch - Heart of All
Understanding that in most scenarios there are 7 major Chakra centers in the body, however for this we'll begin with 5 and work towards 7.
Actually, for the time being we'll use 4 of these body parts/senses and leave the Heart part for later on...
The eyes can be the Head area
The ears are your two arms
The nose can be your torso area
The mouth can be your legs
To summarize and execute;
Sit on a chair, preferably one with a stable back support allowing you to sit-up straight. Hands on knees and head facing down with elbows relaxed on the thigh, or torso if arms are long... as if you have fallen asleep on the chair with head leaning down forward. Try to stay relaxed by thinking happy thoughts... maybe you won $200 or you just heard a funny joke - these such things make you feel good on your inside and also further relax the body when the novelty has worn off. (which will wear away quickly as the technique is all in your imagination)
Remember to try and keep posture align with the chair...
[lotus mediation of which is crossed legs in a seated position is related to this technique but rather than sit cross-legged you’ll be sitting on chair with straight legs] Lotus is advanced relative to this technique but we need to begin with easier ways…
I would like to point out that although meditation is generally being at peace of mind, the term Peace can be diverse at understanding as well. Simply to have no anger or silly thoughts reside in the brain is the mere start to having peace within. Peace is like having negatives exempt from your thought processors, therefore leaving the mind with only positives to think of. That is what peace means – positive way of being, or positive way of seeing life.
Meditation peace is to be blissful in what is occurring... Bliss is to think on one thought or no thought. One thought means one topic and that one topic is titled Happy.
Happy is Peace - I cannot make it any clearer than this
For your meditation purposes, we just wish to be happy rather than think Peace. They are both in the same but are slightly different at executing, and if you cannot do the peace part, just do the happy part and you'll end up at peace place anyway...
While head down, use your imagination to view a full moon on the ceiling - vertically above your chair. (use your minds eye - thus is the defined term for imagination). Use your imagination and visualize that a moon is directly above your being.
This process and throughout is done with the eyes closed and relaxed.
The freaky thing that happens in the brain is; while the brain understands that you are visualizing something way above and is bright. It also senses that it is really dark and your head is pointing down. It is a contradiction of the mind senses.
To think such thoughts is to expand the ability of the mind to do such opposite tasks at once. It is a diverse matter for the neurological patterns to comprehend, but no doubt they will be learned and perfected and thus you’ll evidently arrive at peace.
To break from this stage is to fight what is occurring, thus breaking the link of sensory perception of the experience....
While this head, mind and eye exercise is going on, imagine that you want to lift your arms from your legs to touch the full moon above. Do not move the hands from knees, just imagine that you are lifting towards the roof...
At the point of the imaginative lifting, breathe inwards through the nose. Doing this lifts the shoulders and chest area, but keep relaxed and calm if you feel the urge to move a limb, but for the main parts try to keep still – just breathe inwards the nose. If the chest does not rise, then make a point to gently lift it while breathing in while lifting arms.
This part is tricky. Since you are imagining the sensation of lifting and reaching, and further touching the full moon, you need to realize some sensation in the fingers. The fingers of which are touching the knees need to compute to the brain that they are actually touching your moon above, thus having a smooth or rough feeling in the fingers of which is the surface of the moon. Of which… so to speak…. Screws with the pattern of thinking in the brain.
The idea that they are touching the surface of the moon while they are actually resting on the knees, once again puts the brain in opposite thinking at one point in time. Generally it is difficult for an untrained mind to think opposites at once, but with training it is possible and therefore eventually it is possible to think opposites, whether be happy and peace, alive or imaginative, or lifting relative to not really moving.
[a dead man knows that he is asleep, but a sleeping man does not know if he is alive or dead] Dead man is spirit, trying to get back into the physical realm. Sleeping man is just resting and is in fantasyland, the both are diverse and both are spirit in their respective dimensions.
At the point where you would breathe out what you breathed in through the nose, needs to be released through the mouth valve of your system airflow. It is like this, breathe in the nose and exhale through the mouth. Only have the mouth slightly ajar; ajar so that only the hair off your head could slide through. So it is a pretty small gap I’m referring to.
While breathing out the mouth, be conscious of your legs and try to lift them up to the moon as well. While doing this tense the abdominal area.
Mouth is related to the legs because when you breathe out you need to lift something (imaginative lift I mean), and thus be legs. The tensing of the stomach or torso area is for you should be at the stage of using your nose to breathe back in.
Breathing should be slow, relaxed, with no pressure added to exhaling or inhaling. No straining should occur throughout any of these exercises. Everything or most things need to be of a relaxed manner.
That about does it for the sensory parts of the 3. I have covered
Breathing in – Nose
Breathing out – Mouth
Lifting arms or fingers – minds eye
Lifting legs and torso – mouth and nose
{everything is done through the imagination of ALL occurring while you do not move at all…)
Next is hearing. This is an expansion of understanding the term hearing. Although there are no sounds disturbing you while doing these exercises, you’ll have to appreciate that you yourself are actually talking to yourself to execute the above exercises. And therefore you hear your own words even though there is no sound produced.
This is called hearing your inner voice. It is just the same when you read a book out loud and some busy body asks you to read in your head – this is the association to listening to the inner voice that you yourself produce but cannot hear.
So… for most understandings… hearing too comes in many ways to be understood. It does not mean you actually had to hear a sound. (Strange world we live in to understand things such diverse ways, especially my perspectives of understanding)
To exercise the inner hearing ability is to just do the above exercises peacefully, or happily as I have explained. To exercise your outer hearing abilities is to turn on a ten-minute piece of meditation music and listen to this as well. The next crazy thing that happens in the brain is, it is trying to listen to your inner self and outer music simultaneously. Difficult feat for the mind to do but not impossible. And this is how your inner hearing becomes trained to be peace with the outside sounds, and thus synchronizing your whole entire body to move with the flow of the meditating music or tones… or whatever you wish to listen to.
If you can understand the procedure to be easily followed so far; then it will be easily followed when it is all put into practice, and hopefully your frustration deters to an appreciation of just understanding the whole concept of Chakra.
That pretty much does it for now. I just want to go over a few things and add a few more things.
Do the exercise for 10 minutes with no distractions, have the music at a sound level on minimal, so you can hear without having to strain. Not too loud as to overpower your inner words. Find a calming level of sound volume…
It is not so hard to do – keep still for 10 minutes. Do not even move your fingertips or toes, nothing is to move. Only with experience and realization are you able to move more freely around. That is advanced and that is where we’re going for.
Understanding that this is only a 10-minute exercise sure comes some appreciation for the mind action to accomplish and execute. Yes although there is a lot of thinking power designed here, eventually it leads the mind, body, spirit and soul to be relaxed, and thus ALL is at a peace of mind, peace of being and a sense of feeling free.
The mind body, spirit and soul are all being exercised with the above story I wrote. When things become exercised they will soon need to become relaxed, and this is what I would be trying to teach you – to be more relaxed with what you are experiencing.
Try not think that you wish to be like the others, for they maybe a lot more advanced in technique than of your personal technique.
That is all it is… Life is not seen as others are better than yourself; life is seen as others have better techniques that you desire to know, and it is point in your life to find that technique so you will be like the others.
Hope things made sense, if not, write back with what you experienced. Based on your reply of how actions and senses were experienced I will calculate the physiology of you being and further give assistance, if any is necessary>
My username YHWH4828, comes from a coding of cryptology. I had a crack at the Kryptos sculpture puzzle that is displayed outside CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia in the United States. I haven’t been there in person but I just did the puzzle over the internet. I understood what I believed to be correct and further applied the encryption technique to 3 main languages that I know of.
The Bible, Roman Mythology and Greek Mythology into a single code name – YHWH4828
Bible is YHWH as YHWH is Jehovah of which is Jesus
Greek language is coded in alphanumeric, which is numbers and letters combined
Roman language is simply the numbers in the name.
Jesus is related to the Bible is so is Greek. Roman is related to Greek through their understandings of similar Gods and naming of Gods.
Gods is what is in the Bible, Gods is what we are and that is how I felt such a name to be appropriate for my perspective of analyzing life.
I said I would mention the heart later, so here we go.
Because the heart is used throughout the whole experience of the exercising, it is a subconscious matter that really has no concern, for you naturally breathe without being aware of it existence. The heart for now is not necessary to be consciously aware of. When you yourself become advanced, you’ll bring the Heart back into play by being more aware of the internal movement.
My way - Heart does not come into play until anything above the 12th activation of a Chakra.
